Accessibility
Accessibility is important to us at Open Care Clinic. Many factors determine whether a space is accessible, including the physical space, gender-affirming care and cost. We are doing our best to create a clinic that is accessible to as many people as possible.
The ADA accessible entrance to our building is around the corner on Joralemon Street, just west of Court Street. (Please see photo of what the accessible entrance looks like.) When you are by the door, you must ring the bell to the left of the door and the lobby attendant will see you through the camera and let you in. On rare occasions, when the lobby attendant is on a bathroom break, they cannot answer the door and you must wait until they are back. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Please note that the building’s accessible entrance requires you to go through a long and windy corridor. The video below is of a walk-through of the accessible entrance.
There are two ADA-accessible, gender-neutral bathrooms on our floor.
We continue to maintain strict Covid-protocols and masking to create as safe a space as possible. (Note: On Sundays when we offer Community Facial Treatments, our clients have to expose their faces to get treated. If you require everyone to be masked, please do not book your appointments on Sundays.)
If you have any questions or suggestions about accessibility, please contact us at Info@OpenCareCommunity.com or call us at 917-426-1138.
