Wheelchair Accessibility
If you’re a patient who uses a wheelchair, our building is ADA accessible. However, there may be challenges to getting from the street to our suite.
The building’s accessible entrance is around the corner on Joralemon Street, with a ramp and a side door. To get the door open, press the doorbell and the lobby attendant will buzzed in. Although our lobby attendant is there most of the time to buzz you in, sometimes they take bathroom breaks and aren’t at their desk to do so; we apologize for the inconvenience.
Upon entering there is a series of long hallways to navigate to be able to reach out main lobby, we understand not the most ideal sort of entrance for people who need accessibility, this page is dedicated to help guide you with pictures and a video to help you navigate the hallway to our suite on the 10th floor. We encourage patients who have questions about the accessibility entrance to email us or call us at 917-426-1138. We do not always have a receptionist working, so please reach out before your appointment via email or leave us a voicemail and we’ll get back to you. This is all controlled by the building and Open Care has no control over it, so please do excuse the complexity, and know we’ll do our very best to help any patient who needs the accessibility.
